Home Industries Maintenance and repair

Keep planned jobs and call-outs on a file you can show the same day

A fault comes in or a round is due: the visit is booked, the sheet is signed on site, and the client already has the proof.

Maintenance is two kinds of work on the same sites: the planned round and the fault that cannot wait. Both need a job sheet, a client signature and a file that still stands if warranty is argued later. The Work App runs that path from the ticket to the PDF, so the technician works from the phone and the proof is there the same morning.

Challenges

Does this look like your week?

Where the day slips

  • Faults that disappear into a mailbox or a voicemail
  • Planned rounds on a paper calendar, with nobody reminded
  • Job sheets that wait until the technician is back at a desk
  • A warranty dispute with no client signature on the work
  • Response time and SLA that nobody can measure cleanly

What the platform holds

  • One ticket list, with priority, for planned and reactive work
  • Scheduled rounds with a reminder before they slip
  • Job sheets filled on site, with photos attached
  • Signature and PDF filed before anyone leaves the building
  • SLA and response totals per site, from the same jobs

A typical day

How the day actually runs

From the ticket to the PDF: the fault or the planned job is logged, someone travels, the work is signed, the file is already with the client.

  1. Ticket in

Client or dispatcher logs the fault: priority, description, photo, a number at once.

  2. On the road

Technician assigned, GPS status on. The client gets an arrival notice.

  3. Job sheet

Repair on the phone: parts, time, before and after photos.

  4. Signed

The client signs the completed work. The file is there if warranty is questioned later.

  5. PDF out

The worksheet PDF goes out. Invoicing and the warranty file start from a finished record.

In practice

What teams use every day

Maintenance is a chain: the ticket, the job sheet, the signature, the PDF. Every step has to stay on the same job.

Ticket list

Open, prioritize, follow. Nothing is lost in a mailbox, and SLA stays visible.

Job sheets

Filled on site with photos and parts. No evening catch-up at the desk.

Client signature

Signed on the phone. PDF archived, warranty is showable.

Same-day PDF

Finished jobs generate a document the client can keep.

On the road

Technician location and visit status. ETA for dispatch and for the client.

Site totals

Visits, average repair time, SLA. Performance without a separate tracker.

Work orders handled digitally on site

Our technicians used to send job notes and photos by email or paper, often triggering office follow-ups. Today work orders, images and completion notes go straight into the app. On weak mobile signal the photo upload sometimes needs a second try, our only small gripe.

Multiple properties, one system

Rotating teams across properties used to mean a lot of coordination work. With planning, attendance and client updates in one app we have a clear overview again. Follow-up questions from clients have dropped noticeably.
